Here at Birmingham we are proud of our musical heritage: Symphony
Hall, NIA, NEC, Birmingham Conservetiore, CBSO and the Midlands most
entertaining big band the City of Birmingham Big Band (CBBB).
The CBBB are widely recognised as the midlands most entertaining big
band and have won many national competitions and awards with their
full 17 piece Glenn Miller Orchestra show.
In addition to 35 years of 1940s style dances and WW2 tributes the band
has performed for celebrations and corporate events throughout the
country.

The Midlands is still a thriving scene for 1940s style Big Bands - over
20 working Bands still exist, from the Ashby Big Band in the east to the
City of Birmingham Big Band in the West
The CBBB comprises lead players from many of the top Midlands Bands,
brought together in a "Midlands All Star Big Band"...playing for you as the
City of Birmingham Big Band.
